Do you build Oak Carriage Houses?
Yes, we can build with oak. There are a few types of wood that we prefer to build with, depending on clients’ requirements. This is determined in the planning stage.
What types of doors are offered with your garages?
We offer three options of doors to install in your brand new carriage house garage:
- Roller Shutter Doors, complete with remote controls
- Side Hung Doors
- Up and over doors
If you require a single entry, we can install a personnel door.
Do you install windows with your carriage houses?
Windows can be considered when designing your carriage house. All windows we install will be uPVC double-glazed, so you do not need to worry about rot or rust. Aluminium can be used in some cases and come in whatever colour you want.
Why type of roof covering should my building have?
You can choose which type of roof to have – we will walk you through the options. One of our most popular alternatives to tile roof is felt – they are the best for aesthetically pleasing and cost a lot less than tiles!
Do I need planning permission to build a carriage house?
In some cases, you may. We can guide you, if you do need planning permission, our team can handle it for you.
Does Jon William Stables construct the building?
Yes! Our team has been building wooden garages since 1965.
